The project is called GreenCom and is about how to utilise flexibility and intelligence in the low-voltage demand and local supply side infrastructure to create increased regulation capacity and reserve power in the centralised power grid. The GreenCom will develop a Smart Energy Management System (SEMS) that allows energy providers to measure and control the energy consumption and is thus a natural extension of In-JeT's focus on Internet based services to the citizens' home. The project starts in November 2012 and runs for 3 years. The pilot implementation will take place on the Danish island of Fur.
